AIIA has done more to protect the rights of foreign investors in the last few years than any other organization in the program’s history. Their work provides the stability and representation that my clients at EB5 Select rely on. They are the backbone of investor advocacy, and their impact on the industry’s integrity cannot be overstated.
Even with an approved I-526, I still have my I-829 and repayment of investment to worry about and that is why I was so happy when I heard of AIIA. AIIA gives EB-5 investors a lot of help. Therefore, I will continue to support AIIA as I did in the past.
As an EB-5 investor from 2017, I have seen AIIA fighting many battles consistently on behalf of EB-5 investors. It is thanks to AIIA’s efforts that the grandfathering provision was included in RIA. It is again due to its work that USCIS changed the sustainment period to 2 years from the time of investment. It has fought to obtain and publish petition numbers and waiting list data from USCIS. It has done much to educate investors about the EB-5 process through its website… I think EB-5 investors need AIIA as a strong organization to represent them.
AIIA doesn’t just advocate; they educate. Their webinars and blog posts break down complex legislative changes into plain English that actual EB-5 investors like me can understand. Beyond the information, the investor community has been invaluable—connecting me with hundreds of others facing the same challenges and undergoing the same process.
